I really want to nail this hot chick, but my girlfriend thinks it’s a bad idea. What should I do?
This is I question I get all the time, and it may seem like straying outside your relationship might cause a lot of confusion and emotional stress, but it’s simply not true. Fortunately, like most things in life, the solution can be summed up with a simple analogy.
Say, for example, that your girlfriend is the Salisbury steak that you’re going to have for dinner and the hand job that the new hot chick could give you is a bag of potato chips. Salisbury steak is good, you like eating it, and you can always depend on it. But you can’t be expected to be sustained by only Salisbury steak, can you? What if you’re starving on your way home from work? You can’t just grab a little bag of chips and have yourself a snack?
And what if you’re out of town on business? You can’t take Salisbury steak with you everywhere you go. A man’s got to live, and to do that sometimes he has to indulge in something besides Salisbury steak, whether he wants to or not. I mean, how mad can Salisbury steak really get anyway if you just grab a sandwich at the airport, or have a pizza in the hotel room?
I’ll never understand why women are so touchy about men grabbing a little snack on the side. Now, I can see if he’s going out and having a full meal somewhere else and isn’t finishing his Salisbury steak anymore that can make Salisbury steak feel unwanted, or maybe more important, useless.
I mean, what’s a little carrot dip to Salisbury steak anyway? You’re still coming home for dinner, so what’s the big deal? Salisbury steak hasn’t really been trying that hard lately anyway and maybe it’s being eaten by somebody else, in which case that’s a free pass to snack away.
Now, it’s good advice to not try to eat two full meals every night. I think everyone has had it happen once where you eat your dinner and a half an hour later your friends call and want to go out to some restaurant, and it sounds really good. So you get out there and eat another dinner only to wind up later with an empty wallet and a belly full of regret.
